The Bar
To get together with friends, have a meeting with colleagues, or just to drink a beer; we open at 7 PM from Monday through Saturday until late.
The drinks are cheap because the WerkStadt works as a non-profit organization. Everything you spend at the bar supports the artists and maintains the broad array of activities at the WerkStadt.
Democratic Wine Tasting: We regularly change our wine menu and are looking for your votes. Each time a number of excellent wines stand for election, that for 10 Euros you may test so long and often as you like. Afterwards you may vote and the winners of the categories "red" and "white" are featured on our wine menu.
Cultural Programming
Art
>> ART CLINIC
A monthly exchange platform for emerging and professional visual artists of all mediums. It is a space where artists can present their work in an informal setting, which hopes to foster reflection and development of one's own practice through feedback, critique and support.
Sessions are structured for three artist presentations each month, each artist showing up to 10 jpegs of work.
>> Art-Science Roundtable
This event is an opportunity for anyone interested in the intersection of art and science to meet in an informal context to discuss common interests or projects. It takes place once a month, usually on the second Saturday of the month, from 7 to 9 PM.

More and more we throw tables and chairs aside for an evening and open up the WerkStadt to a wild horde of actors. They know no boundaries, and play mostly to the direction of the guests.
