Die Ausstellung Country 71238 führt in eine aufklappbare Landschaft, in ein begehbares Puppenhaus, in der Pappe das Tor zur Imagination ist und euch über Hof, Stall und Veranda hinein bis auf die Couch einlädt ein wenig zu verweilen.

Hört das Wasser im Brunnen, lasst euch vom Geruch des Ikebana betören, lernt unsere Freund:innen kennen und lehnt euch im Schatten der YumYums zurück, aber bitte stört euch nicht an den herumschwirrenden Fliegen, so ist das eben im Stall. Wir kommen nämlich alle aus ein und demselben und jetzt laden wir euch ein, die Geschichte weiterzuspinnen.

Die 5 Künster:innen Theresa Bischof, Mayan Tuulia Frank, Martha Lange, Joni Parge und Lina Mayer verbindet eine langjährige Freundschaft und die gemeinsame Arbeit im Bereich Theater und Film.

In der Ausstellung schaffen sie einen Ort, an dem sie ihre Perspektiven und Fähigkeiten zusammentun, um eine immersive Erfahrung zu schaffen und die Besucher:innen in ihre Fantasiewelt einzuladen.

The Country 71238 exhibition takes you into a landscape that can be opened up, into a walk-in doll’s house in which cardboard is the gateway to the imagination and invites you to linger a while in the courtyard, stable and veranda right up to the couch.

Listen to the water in the fountain, let yourself be enchanted by the smell of ikebana, get to know our friends and lean back in the shade of the YumYums, but please don’t mind the flies buzzing around, that’s just the way it is in the stable. We all come from the same place and now we invite you to continue the story.

The five artists Theresa Bischof, Mayan Tuulia Frank, Martha Lange, Joni Parge and Lina Mayer have been friends for many years and have worked together in the fields of theater and film.

In the exhibition, they create a place where they combine their perspectives and skills to create an immersive experience and invite visitors into their imaginary world.
